Landscape Architect Design Services - RFP - JCU Townsville - James Cook Drive West

⁠⁠⁠You are invited to submit an "offer" to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Landscape Architect Services for the Boulevard planting along James Cook Drive West at the Bebegu Yumba Campus in Douglas Townsville.

In brief you will be rrequired to; (for detailed specifications, scope and drawings please download the specification documents)

• Formulate a complete proposal up to 100% detailed design level for the Boulevard planting along James Cook Drive West at the Bebegu Yumba Campus in Douglas Townsville.
• Allow for two design packages

1. Complete landscape plan (100% detailed design) for the Boulevard including infrastructure requirements and fly through
2. Staging plans noting the individual constraints (services and infrastructure) to allow progressive planting as funding becomes available.

• Design to consider existing planed works effecting James Cook Drive including

1. James Cook Drive redevelopment design by SMEC
2. Chancellery Place Masterplan design by Cox/Counterpoint
3. Joseph Banks Drive redevelopment currently under design by A. Gabrielli Constructions
4. Pedestrian crossing compliance report by FortisEM

• Include in the proposal
• Boulevard Trees
• Landmark Plantings
• Under story planting
• Vistas and view corridors
• Consideration of relocation the existing infrastructure and pedestrian crossings
• Identification of locations to allow future services to cross James Cook Drive West
• Irrigation connection points, note full irrigation design to be D&C by contractor
• Drainage
