Maungatapu Watermain Upgrades 2022

⁠⁠⁠The purpose of this Advance Notice is to inform suppliers of upcoming release of a Request for Tender (RFT) for the provision of new water mains to replace existing ones that are at the end of their life across Tauranga City.

The Contractor will be working in collaboration with a nominated consultant who will provide all drawing works for As-Built purposes. It is expected that the contractor and consultant will maintain a close working relationship to achieve the desired project outcomes.

The contract is for the supply and installation, generally by directional drilling, of pipelines of various sizes across the following Tauranga suburbs: Maungatapu, Hairini, Matapihi, Papamoa Beach and Welcome Bay.

The works comprise the supply and installation, generally by directional drilling, of approximately 1,018 lineal meters of 50mm, 2,390 lineal meters of 100mm, and 345 lineal meters of 150mmnominal diameter pressure pipe for water supply together with approx. 199 house connections within a five-month period.
