Tender Description
RoadTek is a commercial government business unit within TMR whose core business is the delivery of civil construction and maintenance services including roads, structures, electrical and line marking.
RoadTek operates as a state-wide organisation with nine operations centres located in major centres throughout Queensland.
RoadTek management have requested an initiative to provide training to frontline RoadTek employees to equip them with the skills to cope with aggression from members of the public on construction sites. Training will address conflict management techniques and recovery strategies. At a minimum, the following topics are in scope for the training:-
1. Recognise the signs of aggression and techniques to minimise an aggressive situation
2. Effectively de-escalate a confrontational situation
3. Respond to the different types of difficult behaviours and managing your response
3. What to do before and after an incident to manage wellbeing and inform what support is available.
The training provider will work with RoadTek and provide recommendations for other relevant topics if applicable.
