Tender Description
Newcastle Airport notifies prospective head contractors/parties with relevant airport experience of its intention to issue a Request for Tender (RFT) for the Terminal Expansion Main Works Construction (Project) in early November 2022.
The Project scope encompasses an upgrade of the existing terminal to accommodate CODE E international operation by the end of Q1 2024 and is anticipated to be in the ROM of $80m.
The RFT duration will be approx. 4 weeks, with the objective to appoint a Managing Contractor by Christmas.
Coinciding with the Project RFT, separate RFT's for long lead time items including aerobridge, lifts, escalators, high voltage transformers substation and backup generators will be issued for appropriate suppliers with the intent to award prior to Christmas
