The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Tenders for the removal of existing cladding and replacement with non-combustible compliant cladding to the Mid-Level Plant Room (MLP) located between the 10th and 11th floor and situated at Town Hall House at 456 Kent Street Sydney NSW 2000 for the Town Hall House mid-level Plant Room Cladding Remediation Project in accordance with this request.

During a routine hazmat inspection, the environmentalist EP Risk Management Pty Ltd identified in Hazardous Materials ("Hazmat") Assessment Town Hall House Report reference EP1652.001 v1 that the portion of the plant room cladding has asbestos-containing material (ACM) in the form of galbestos.
This Project will undertake the removal and replacement of the existing external cladding panels enclosing the mid-level plant room located between the 10th and 11th floor of Town Hall House. The works will be required to take place on a live site with minimal disruption to residents and users.
