The Council of the City of Sydney invites Tenders for the carrying out of Head Design Consultancy Services for the Customs House Facade Remediation in accordance with this request.

Customs House is situated at Circular Quay, in the Northern portion of Sydney CBD. It is a State Listed Heritage Building and has played an important part in the Maritime and Commercial history of Sydney. This project will deliver the remediation of the heritage and contemporary facades of Customs House to ensure the longevity of this important civic and community building.

The City is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced Head Design Consultant team to document new remediation scope identified in recent engineering reports. This scope pertains to the Southern glazed facade and glazed and metal roof structure of Customs House completed in the 1990's.
The Head Design Consultant will be responsible for coordinating this additional scope with the existing remediation documentation package for the Heritage Facades of Customs House which have been granted planning approval and documented to tender under a previous engagement.
