Tender Description
Nexans Norway is seeking expressions of interest from contractors able to supply and install concrete mattresses, bulk bags and banana bags in support of the Jansz-Io Compression Project. The mattresses and bulk bags constitutes pre-lay crossing preparations for an umbilical lay.
Scope of work includes (but is not limited to):
• Fabrication of 28 BI-Flex mattresses
• Fabrication of 20 nos. bulk bags
• Fabrication of 8 nos. banana bags
• Offshore installation of the mattresses and bags
The bulk bags shall be installed adjacent to the products to be crossed to provide a physical barrier during placement of the mattresses and a visual reference for mattress heading during landing on seabed.
The banana bags provides curvature control of the products to be crossed during storm conditions.
