Design, Supply and Installation of Bicentennial Boardwalk Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor for the upgrade of the Bicentennial Boardwalk in Airlie Beach.

Council has received funding under the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program. It is anticipated that this funding will cover the design of all sections of the boardwalk, and the supply and installation of one out of the three distinct sections.

The supply and installation of the remaining two (2) sections of the Bicentennial Boardwalk included in the design are proposed to be awarded and included in the Contract, as an estimate only and subject to future budget or funding approval. Accurate costs for these sections will be sought and reviewed by Council once the budget and funding has been approved and will only commence on written approval by Council to the Contractor in accordance with the Contract.
