Tender Description
Southern Grampians Shire Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified consultant to develop a master plan that determines a broad vision and guides the development and management for the Hamilton Showgrounds.
The plan is to be relevant and responsive to the current and future needs of user groups and the broader community.
The objectives of this Master Plan include:
- To identify and develop a strategic vision for the long-term viable use and investment in the site.
- To consider the regional context and future opportunities for the showgrounds with the intent to support a feasible operational model that recognises the economic, social and community opportunities at the site.
- To determine key priorities, timelines and indicative costs that will inform Southern Grampians Shire to develop detailed design and costing.
- To assess and establish a management and governance model of the site to maximise on the objectives of the master plan with clear roles and responsibilities for respective stakeholders.
