New Plymouth District Council (the Buyer) is embarking upon a program to renew and upgrade its 3 waters infrastructure in the New Plymouth District. To achieve this we have budgeted over $80M for stormwater, water & wastewater reticulation renewals and upgrades over the next 5 years. These projects will be the main focus of this RFP. Additional to this we have budgeted for renewals and upgrades within our pump stations and treatment plants. Some of the more minor works within this budget may be delivered through this panel if the successful panellists have the required capability. To improve our infrastructure and achieve this vision, we need professional services partners to plan and design these projects.
It is the intention of the buyer to establish a single panel contract with two separate specialty areas. These two specialties are:
- Water & wastewater
- Stormwater
We need suitably skilled respondents to provide technical assistance in resource management planning, civil engineering and environmental engineering design.
The respondent could consist of one consultancy, a multi-company partnership or lead consultant with sub consultant partners as required to cover the full scope of work.
Respondents could submit for one, or both of the specialties
