Tender Description
This Contract is for the construction of traffic signals at the intersection of Southbrook Road and Torlesse Street, Rangiora, with additional works on the adjacent side streets.
The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
• Supply, install, and commissioning of traffic signals.
• Replace the existing 150mm asbestos cement water main through the intersection with PVC.
• Reconstruct the kerbs and channels for the intersection.
• Replace an additional 130 metres of kerb, channel and footpath on the east side of Southbrook Road
• Paver lay 75mm asphalt overlay for the full intersection including mill and fill and additional 65mm north of the intersection.
• Paver lay 55mm asphalt overlay for Southbrook Road between Torlesse Street and South Belt.
• Construct kerb buildouts, raised crossings, and a splitter island throughout Denchs Road, Marshall Street, and Torlesse Street.
• Construct speed humps on Buckleys Road.
• Miscellaneous road markings.
• Street Lighting (plans to follow)
