Scope of Works:
The Rio Tinto Energy Development (RTED) department are looking for a supplier for an upcoming expansion of its 220kV / 33kV YMPS Substation under an EPC (Engineer, Procure, Construct) engagement. The scope entails but is not limited to the following:
• Civil, Bulk Earthworks & Earthing.
• Extension of the 220kV Double Bus AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) yard for a GSU (Generator Step Up) Transformer Bay, Including installation of 220kV Primary Plant, Busbar & Secondary Systems.
• Installation of one (1) x 120MVA 220/33kV Transformer.
• Installation of one (1) Combined 33kV Switchroom and Relay Room (including fire systems, HVAC, security system).
• Installation of one (1) Switchyard control room.
• Tie in work to existing switchyard (220kV.)
• Design and construct ~2km of 33kV overhead line.
• Commissioning of all systems.
