The indicative project scope involves the development, design and construction of:

• Two grade separated intersections at Altone Road and Drumpellier Drive/Daviot Road with entry & exit ramp connectivity to Reid Highway;
• Pavement reconstruction to meet Freeway standard;
• PSP infrastructure; a continuous grade-separated PSP on the south side of Reid Highway and three new underpasses (two at Altone Road interchange and one at Daviot Road / Drumpellier Drive interchange) and extension of existing Grandis Road underpass; and
• Associated civil works; noise walls, street lighting, drainage, ITS, road safety barriers and services relocations.

Commonwealth Funded Contract that requires compliance with the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code)

The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code) applies to the building work associated with this project.  By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016.  Refer to the Building Code at employment.gov.au/building-code for further information.

Commonwealth Funded Contract that requires compliance with the Australian Govt Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme

It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2016, at the time of the EOI closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.

Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulation 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)
