Central Coast Council is replacing the existing Tacoma South Vacuum Sewerage System with a new Low Pressure Sewerage System (LPSS). The existing river crossing also needs to be replaced. The design for the river crossing portion of the works has not yet been prepared and will be included as a 'design and construct' component of the contract.
The works will comprise of four major parts:

Design and installation of a directional bore under the Wyong River. The contractor will be responsible for designing the directional bore and pipe based on the concept design provided by the principal. The contractor will be required to install the bore and pipe as per their design.

Construction of the Low-Pressure Sewer System for properties in Tacoma South to connect to the Sewerage Pumping Station WS29 in Wolseley Avenue Tacoma. The contractor will be responsible to install the pressure sewerage main in South Tacoma Road, Kingsland Close and Raymond Street.

Construction of 'on property' installation of tanks pumps, electrical, telemetry, connection to the main and ancillary works as per the design provided by the principal.

Demolition of Sewerage Pumping Station WS31 in accordance with the specification.

Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering a Contract with the preferred Tenderer. Council may in its absolute discretion either accept the Tender that, having regard to all the circumstances, appears to Council to be the most advantageous, or decline to accept any of the Tender offers.
