Tender Description
Griffith University is one of Australia’s most innovative tertiary institutions and an influential contributor to education and research in the Asia–Pacific region. Since opening in 1975, Griffith has grown from a small, single campus of 451 students to a remarkable, comprehensive university with more than 50,000 students across six campuses in South-East Queensland, including its Digital campus, and a network of more than 200,000 graduates.
Griffith University is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and resourced developers and operators (these roles may be filled by different parties) to finalise and deliver an on-campus Student Accommodation strategy for the Nathan campus. This strategy may include the refurbishment of existing accommodation and/or the delivery of new building(s) and is anticipated to result in the provision of around 500 on-campus beds.
Suppliers may respond jointly with other parties in responding to the Expression of Interest (where they fulfil different elements of the scope ie. investor/developer/operator) but the roles of each partner must be clearly articulated and Griffith University will only contract with one entity, so Suppliers need to arrange their relationship to enable this to occur. Please note that this is the first stage in a two-stage procurement process.
