The Council of the City of Sydney invites Expressions of Interest for the role of Principal Contractor for the:
* Castlereagh Street Public Domain Upgrade and Cycleway Project, and the
* Oxford Street West and Liverpool Street Cycleway Project.

In November 2018, the City of Sydney (the City) endorsed the Cycling Strategy and Action Plan 2018-2030, and subsequently incorporated it into the City's long-term strategic plan, Sustainable Sydney 2030. The Cycling Strategy and Action Plan includes an overall proposed Bike Network which is being implemented in sections over time.

The Principal Contractor will be responsible for the construction of the Castlereagh Street Public Domain Upgrade project (the Castlereagh Street project) and/or the Oxford Street West and Liverpool Street Cycleway (the Oxford / Liverpool Street project) as described in the drawings included in this request for Expressions of Interest (EOI).

Expressions of Interest must be submitted in the manner required by this document. Respondents can submit Expressions of Interest for either one of the projects, or for both, and must nominate in the Returnable Schedules to which project/s they are responding.
The Procurement will be a two-stage process consisting of this EOI as stage one. Resulting in a short list of vendors to be invited to a selective tender/s as stage two.
