Tender Description
The following subsea infrastructure will be decommissioned and brought onshore and is to be disposed of as part of this package:
- 2 of 12” flexible risers, ~430m each
- 2 of 2” flexible risers, ~430m each
- 2 of 3” flexible flowlines, ~21km total
- 1 of 9” flexible flowline, ~17km
- 1 of 10.2” flexible flowline, ~14km
- 11 of various umbilicals, ~91km total
Approximately 5,500t of infrastructure is included in this package.
The initial scope of work for this package is a FEED study in which a Project Execution Plan (PEP) is to be delivered detailing:
- Proposed dismantling and recycling methodology
- Assessment and justification for suitable quayside locations for receipt of decommissioned products
- Assessment and justification for suitable location to perform dismantling and processing into recyclable materials
- Assessment and justification for suitable licensed facilities for disposal of any materials that cannot be recycled
- Disposal chain, waste, and recycling stream overview
- Identification of Risks and Opportunities, especially:
o Synergy with other decommissioning projects managed by Santos or others,
o Re-use of decommissioned products,
- Preliminary HSEQ management plan
- A proposed Execution Schedule
- A project Cost Estimate
Following completion of the FEED, Santos intends to negotiate a contract with the preferred supplier to implement the Project Execution plan and undertake the recycling and disposal.
