Tender Description
Removal and Disposal of Subsea Equipment excluding SURF
The MEFF fields are located approximately 160km north of Dampier, Western Australia. Water depth ranges from 130 to 160m.
The following subsea infrastructure remains in place post cessation of production and is to be removed and disposed of as part of this package:
- Rigid flowlines
- Rigid spools
- Mooring wires and chains
- Production manifolds
- Other Subsea Structures: including PLEMs, UTAs and PUDUs
- Electrical and hydraulic flying leads
- Stabilisation items
Removal methodology, engineering design and analyses and preliminary procedures will be developed by Santos prior to tendering for offshore vessels.
The scope of work for this package includes:
- Removal of subsea infrastructure from the MEFF fields by lifting following deburial (if required) and sub-sea cutting utilising ROV.
- Logistics and handling onshore to dispose of decommissioned items to recycling markets (preferred) or suitable licenced landfill facilities.
Approximately 2,200t of infrastructure is included in this package and the offshore works will take in the order of 4 months total vessel time.
