Tender Description
The Northern Water Supply Project involves providing a new sustainable water source to the Gawler Craton region in the Far North of the State and potentially the Upper Spencer Gulf via pipeline drawing sea water from near Whyalla together with a range of desalination options identified. The trunk main pipeline (including pumping and storage locations) is in the order of 450km from the desalination plant to various potential customers in the Upper Spencer Gulf and Upper North regions.
The purpose of this procurement is to engage a consulting firm or consortium to complete Environmental and Specialist Studies to assess the environmental, social and economic impact of the project to inform the Business Case.
