Tender Description
You are invited to submit an offer to be included in the register of pre-qualified suppliers for the supply of goods and/or services associated with implementation works as part of Toowoomba Regional Council’s Water Infrastructure Services upgrade projects by completing and submitting a Tender (Offer).
Toowoomba Regional Council (TRC) (also the ‘Customer’) is one of Australia’s medium scale water and sewerage service providers. TRC currently provides water and sewerage services to over sixty four thousand (64k) customers across a Service Area comprising the region from north of Yarraman to south-west of Millmerran and includes the city of Toowoomba. TRC’s Water and Wastewater business came into being in 2008 through the amalgamation of 8 councils. The councils were Clifton Shire Council, Crows Nest Shire Council, Cambooya Shire Council, Jondaryan Shire Council (Oakey), Millmerran Shire Council, Pittsworth Shire Council, Rosalie Shire Council (Goombungee) and Toowoomba City Council. A legacy of the amalgamation is that TRC’s service network operates across different ageing SCADA platforms across its infrastructure network assets located at sites in excess of 370 of varying sizes and complexities.
The upgrade and standardisation project involves the replacement or upgrade, testing, commissioning and warranty of electrical, controls and telemetry equipment at selected council water and wastewater sites including pump stations, bores, reservoirs and communications facilities. In conjunction with field site upgrades there is a requirement for SCADA and Telemetry integration services to be provided across the TRC SCADA system.
