Tender Description
The Department seeks to replace the existing O-Bahn recovery vehicle with a new vehicle. The current O-Bahn Recovery Vehicle known as ‘Dumbo’ was designed for the O-Bahn when it opened in 1989 and utilises a dual cabin system. The Recovery Vehicle is used to tow buses off the track in a relatively fast manner utilising the dual cabin ability for easy maneuvering.
A new vehicle is sought with a single cabin design to reduce the number of complex parts needed for maintenance and upkeep of the vehicle.
