Tender Description
Council is seeking expressions of interest for use of the office spaces at the front of Yass Soldiers' Memorial Hall.
The building is located at 82-94 Comur Street, Yass, NSW 2582.
1. Northern side room
- Consists of three separate rooms with a sink and small kitchenette.
- Total floor space of 54m2.
- Public amenities available at the rear of Yass Valley Library.
- Separate electricity meter.
- Street access and windows in each space.
2. Southern side room
- Single room only with small sink.
- Total floor space of 31m2.
- Public amenities available at the rear of Yass Valley Library.
- Separate electricity meter.
- Windows facing street, with street access to office space.
At a minimum, expressions of interest must address the following criteria for Council's consideration:
- A demonstration of the suitability of the organisation or business to the prime CBD location, which sits within a community building with a memorial shrine at its centre.
- Address how the organisation or business may activate the area through increased foot traffic, the number and demographics of visitors or customers expected, and the days it intends to be open for trade or access per week.
- Address any commercial terms including the period of the lease, proposed lease arrangement and terms, and weekly rental.
- Any additional supporting information to assist Council in determining the best fit for the hall.
