ABOUT CAMPBELLTOWN 'Campbelltown City: A city of Ambition, Opportunity and Innovation. 

 
Campbelltown City is a designated strategic centre and is just 53kms from the Sydney CBD, covering an area of 312 km2. 
The City is home to more than 160,000 people with the population expected to reach 270,000 by 2031, and is a significant centre for the Macarthur region, providing a broad range of services and facilities including a major hospital, university, two TAFE colleges, arts centre, public transport, large shopping centres and a growing commercial and industrial sector. 
 
Our location on the F5 provides residents and visitors with easy access to the wider Sydney metropolitan area. Residents enjoy this proximity while valuing the natural environment surrounding the city, including the Georges River, Scenic Hills, extensive bushland and rural lands. 
 
Council's principal service centre is located at the Civic Centre in Queen Street, Campbelltown. 
 
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS 
 
Council requires a suitably experienced organisation for the design and construction of a warehouse type of building at Campbelltown Golf Club, Glen Alpine 
 
The building is to be constructed with: 
 
* Reinforced concrete raft slab with suitable power tooled finish and protected sealer that meet slip resistance rating for warehouse; 
* External walls to be reinforced core-filled concrete block works; 
* Steel roof with colourbond sheeting; 
* Fall & Arrest System for maintenance purposes; 
* Internal walls to be light weight steel frame and water resistant sheeting (option 150mm reinforced core-filled block work); 
* All works as required to transfer and make compliance of services from existing building to new building; 
* Relocating Irrigation Control Box from existing shed to new shed; 
* All painting works as required (incl. line marking); 
* Suitable tiling and floor for internal areas; 
*Including all ventilations louvers, doors and associated hardware, all other hardware / fixtures / sanitary items / signage / gutter with leaf guard / downpipes / backplash / lighting / fire extinguishers (incl. large warehouse / industrial wall mounted fan and) to meet the standards for this type of building and the concept design documentation; 
* Supply and Install a motorised 5T hoist beam system (Provisional Sum); 
* Provision for roof structure to withstand the 5T hoist beam system and solar panel systems and location for solar system battery (solar panels system and battery supply and install by others); 
* Provision for electrical supply for the 5T hoist beam system; 
* Waterproofing and certification to wet areas; 
* Reinforced Concrete Driveway & Hardstand area (Provisional Sum); 
* New and compliant electrical MSB to new building, connect to the existing electrical supply and ready for transfer once new shed completed (incl. provision for solar panel and battery system within the MSB); 
* Includes all preliminaries items required for the completion of the works (incl. but not limited portable toilets / power supply / portable water etc.). Noting Campbelltown City Council or the Golf Club will not supply these items. 
The building includes amenities, office, kitchen, lunch room and storage areas. 
DA approval has been obtained for the project.

REGISTRATION TO TENDER 
 
You can purchase the Request for Tender (RFT) document after registering with online forum through the portal in electronic form or in hard copy from Council's Customer Service Centre, Ground Floor, Cnr Queen and Broughton Streets, Campbelltown. 
 
DOCUMENT FEE 
 
There is a document fee of $134.00 for this RFT, both in electronic or hard copy form.
