Tender Description
The Mount Manget Primary School(fmr) was constructed in various stages from 1898 in stone, and subsequently, timber framed construction, together with adjacent school grounds has cultural heritage significance as the place is a typical example of a WA Public Works Department designed former primary school and teachers quarters (not part of this program) constructed over several periods from the late 1890s in response to the changing state and regional economy.
This program is to conserve and restore the original school buildings and provides a unique opportunity to critically preserve the history of buildings in the regions of Western Australia.
