FY22/23 Reservoir Remediation & Temporary Water Supply Consultancy Package

⁠⁠⁠Cairns Regional Council is inviting submissions from suitably qualified and experienced respondents for the design of Reservoir Remediation Works at five Council sites, and including design of Temporary Water Supply Works at two of the sites:

• Palm Cove Reservoir
• Mountain View B Reservoir
• Centenary High Reservoir
• Tunnel Hill Clearwater Reservoir
• Tobias Close A & B Reservoirs

The works also includes L3 condition assessments (two sites) and a structural assessment at one of the sites.
The objective of this consultancy is to produce tender documentation which Council shall use to procure a suitably experienced contractor to undertake the construction/remediation works.

Enquiries: Tender enquiries, questions or clarifications should be directed via the online forum. Cairns Regional Council officers are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the tender. The forum will close two days prior to the closing time and date. Please ensure that all questions, information requests and clarifications are posted prior to this time.

We strongly recommend that you begin uploading your tender submission files at least two (2) hours BEFORE the tender closing time.

Closing Time and Date: The tender closes at 4:30 PM, Friday 9 September. Submissions must be fully received by this time. Late, verbal or emailed tenders may not be accepted and will be subject to Council's sole discretion.

Submissions will not be opened publicly. The lowest or any tender may not necessarily be accepted.

Council reserve the right to change the specifications prior to making a decision on the submissions received in response to this invitation.

Council may invite all Respondents to change their submission to take into account any change in the tender specifications.

Tenders are to remain valid for a period of 120 days from the Closing Time.
