Waikuku Beach Water Main Renewals 2021/22

⁠⁠⁠This Contract is for the Construction of new Water Mains in Ensors Place and Queens & Kings Avenue, Waikuku Beach.
The contract is split into two Provisional Separable Portions, either of which may be removed from the contract following tender, and prior to award of contract, dependent on pricing received.

The key skills required for this contract are the ability to install PE water mains, water valves and fire hydrants in an urban environment, including connection to live reticulation.
The main tasks involved in this Contract are:
Provisional Separable Portion A (Ensors Place):
- Supply and Installation of
- 159m of 63mm PE100 PN12.5 and
- 78m of 125mm PE100 PN12.5
- Supply and install details as shown in the drawings.
- Locate, move, transfer and upgrade (where required) existing service connections.
- Cap and abandon pipework, remove valves and hydrants on abandoned pipework and remove associated surface features.
Provisional Separable Portion B (Queens & Kings Avenue):
- Supply and Installation of the following in Queens Avenue:
- 241m of 63mm PE100 PN12.5 and
- 225m of 180mm PE100 PN12.5
- Supply and Installation of 109m of 125mm PE water main in Kings Avenue.
- Supply and install details as shown in the drawings.
- Locate, move, transfer and upgrade (where required) existing service connections.
- Cap and abandon pipework, remove valves and hydrants on abandoned pipework and remove associated surface features.

When pricing works, tenderers are to assume the works will be completed with Covid19 Red or Orange Traffic Light protocols in place.
