Tender Description
Cloncurry Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the design and construction of nine 'executive' style homes, as described in more detail in document T2022-021 Scope.
The Principal has a strategic goal to attract families and investment to Cloncurry. One of the mechanisms to support this goal is the provision of quality housing that could be leased on a long-term basis to businesses/mining operations. Through this type of development, the project will provide an affordable, family-style residential location that will make the community more attractive for people to live and work locally and offset the dependence of FIFO works.
Tenderers are advised that the Principal's preference is for traditionally constructed homes and not modular, pre-fabricated, transportable or kit homes. However, construction/project homes utilising traditional construction techniques would be accepted.
