Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW), Offender Services and Programs (OS&P) staff are a blend of multidisciplinary staff who are required to work in challenging Correctional Centre environments on a day-to-day basis.

The inmates they manage have diverse backgrounds and characteristics and varying and at times complex behavioural issues, which, for some inmates are accompanied by cognitive impairments and complex needs

OS&P staff provide services and facilitate behaviour change and addiction programs to these inmates on a regular basis utilising cognitive and dialectical behavioural therapy methods.

Furthermore, OS&P staff work with all inmates to provide services to ensure their safety and wellbeing whilst in custody and to needs and issues.

A professional supervision framework will enable staff from all professional and cultural backgrounds to participate in reflective practice and receive feedback and professional development whilst participating in Supervision.

This will assist to support, develop, and retain staff, maintaining their individual well-being, and support them to achieve and maintain cultural awareness, rapport building, and maintain inmate cultural safety. This, in turn, will support their ability to deliver enhanced and effective services and programs to all inmates.

CSNSW is looking for a variety of suitable registered organisations and or individual practitioners of clinical supervision, who can deliver both professional supervision and cultural supervision to OS&P staff who deliver programs and services to inmates within CSNSW.
