Tender Description

Tenders are invited from suitable experienced contractors undertake adjustments to Parkes Golf course comprising the construction of eleven (11) new full or partial holes and associated works. These works are associated with the Newell Highway Upgrade - Parkes Bypass.

More specifically, the works to be undertaken on the Parkes Golf Course includes (but is not limited to):

•Removal of trees including chipping, mulching and or stockpiling.

•Construction of new tees

•Construction of new greens

•Establishment of new fairways including minor ground re-shaping

•Construction of new cart paths

•Growing-in new grass during the course of the contract

•Provision of temporary signage and delineation during the course of the work

•Installation and commissioning of new irrigation infrastructure

•Planting of trees

•Making good any damage or disturbance

The work under the contract specifically excludes:

•Ongoing maintenance beyond contract completion

•Any work outside the western boundary

The time available to undertake the works is limited. Contractors are required to commence works on site within two weeks of tender acceptance and have all works complete by April 2023.

The contract requires the contractor to provide all materials, labour and specialist subcontractors.

More generally the work under this package includes:

• Development of management systems and implementation during the work under the Contract:

Work health and safety
Contract program
Making good all disturbances

All tenderers must comply with the NSW Government‘s Procurement Policy Framework (NSW Framework) and Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code). Copies of the NSW Framework and NSW Code are available at www.buy.nsw.gov.au.

By submitting a tender for this work, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016.

It is a requirement for this project that the successful contractor be accredited under the Australian Government Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme (the Scheme) at the time of entering into the contract for ‘building work’ for the Project and must maintain accreditation under the Scheme while the ‘building work’ is being carried out. Information on the Scheme is available on the Australian Government website at www.fsc.gov.au.”
