Scope of Works
Rio Tinto requires a supplier to install, tie in and commission Bore Head Works Pump skid in the Southern Fortescue Bore Fields.
The Southern Fortescue Bore 3 has been drilled and a bore headwork skid and concrete footings have been procured. These need to be transported from the Tom Price Town Tanks location to the Southern Fortescue Bore 3 location and installed tied in and commissioned.
This is a Construction Scope of Works.
The procurement and installation requirements for the Southern Fortescue Bore 3 Head Works will include but is not limited to:
1) Civil
(a) Transport pre-cast concrete foundation blocks and Bore Headworks skid.
(b) Install new bore head works onto the concrete blocks and bolt down, including fabrication of a framing system so allow the concrete blocks to be aligned correctly to accept the head works skid this installation and future installations. Frame template to remain property of RTIO post installation.
(c) Back fill of existing sumps.
(d) Fence and supply blue metal around the skid and bore with gate for truck access.
(e) Trench between skid and existing pipework to lay new pipework, fill and compact.
2) Electrical
(a) Procurement and installation of either a genset or install a transformer and tie in to existing electrical lines.
3) Mechanical
(a) Fabrication and installation of pipework and valves to tie in bore head works to the existing line.
(b) Procurement of installation of bore pump.
