Tender Description
Purpose
Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified local Indigenous parties who are looking for a business opportunity to manage the Bamaga Swimming Pool operations.
Background Information
The type and scope of the arrangement that Council will enter is open for discussion. However, interested parties will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of swimming pool operations and hold the following qualifications:
• Pool Operator Certificate
• Pool Lifeguard
• Blue Card
• Reliability in hours of operation
Interested parties should indicate their preferred method of engagement with Council e.g. service agreement, managing contractor agreement or lease. Council will determine its preferred approach following consideration of submissions received and suitably qualified respondents will be invited to participate further.
Council Obligations
• Will provide all cleaning agents and materials for the complex
• Council will pay for electricity of the complex
• Council will undertake structural repairs
• Supply all water reasonably required for maintaining the complex
• Supply all pool chemicals
