RFI Provision of Home Compostable Dog Waste Bags

⁠⁠⁠Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. The Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community.

Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance our quality of life, promote sustainable development, and protect our environment.

Council currently consumes approximately 4,000,000 dog waste bags in the LGA per annum, mainly distributed through a network of dog waste bag dispensers in sanctioned off leash dog parks, exercise areas and walking trails.

Council is currently investigating the market for compostable bags (including home compostable bags) that are made from suitable materials, including but not limited to plant based polymer, recycled paper, and other materials that are deemed to have minimal environmental impact.

Submissions close at 2pm on 9th August 2022 and must be fully received by this time

LODGEMENT
Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
