Tender Description

Cessnock Airport requires the Construction of the 1800mm height chainmesh and 3 barbed wire strand security fence that surrounds the airport. as per diagrams

Diagram A details the boundaries that require fencing. Approx 2078 linear meters.

Diagram B details the relocation of pallisade fence gating

Diagram C details gates of double opening 4.8 meter width x 1800mm height chain mesh plus 3 strand barbed wire (2.4 x 2.4) to AS1725 Std with pin locks, locking chains and securing bolts. The gates must be low enough to the ground to prevent a person or animal from climbing under.

Diagram D details gates of double opening 4.0 meter width x 1800mm height chain mesh plus 3 strand barbed wire (2.0 x 2.0) to AS1725 Std with pin locks, locking chains and securing bolts. The gates must be low enough to the ground to prevent a person or animal from climbing under.

Diagram E details sliding gates of 5.0 meter width. Location Western terminal car park. Gate height minimum 1200mm and must be fitted with a welded locking chain and set to run on a steel track with steel rolling wheels. The wheels should be located on the inner boundary of the airport.

The fence materials must be AS1725 STD and AS 1163 STD where applicable.

The chainmesh security fencing shall be a minimum height of 1800mm secured to the surface by use of galvanised steel pegs of minimum 400mm lenght at 1000mm intervals to prevent animal incursion and topped with minmum 3 strand barbed wire.

All posts must be secured by concrete footings.

All posts should be cranked at the top to prevent climbing over from boundary.
