Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Rio Tinto is seeking a supplier to upgrade the current refueling facility at J-Bay to meet compliance requirements.

This includes the following:

Electrical:

• Manufacture, install and commission complete new control cabinet/s and electrical panel/s, including replacement of power supply cabling from the local Distribution Board, including replacing the local distribution board.

• Tidy internal wiring the local distribution board.

• Integrate the local micro loads into the new control cabinets.

• Upgrade the area lighting with new LED Fittings (2 x pole mount flood 3x linear 1x safety shower).

• Supply and installation of all new power and control cabling from the control cabinet/s, electrical panel/s and local distribution board (excludes infeed power to the local DB).

• Supply and replacement of failed / corroded junction boxes (4 off).

• Supply and replacement of failed / corroded isolator (4 off).

• Supply and replacement of Emergency stops (4 off).

• Supply and installation of new local control station.

• Supply and replacement of loading arm park position proximity switches.

• Supply and replacement of the ‘Scully’ overfill protection systems & cabling (2 off).

• Supply and replacement local PLC, including review and update of PLC programming.

Structural, Mechanical & piping:

• Replacement of the existing 3 way valve with Tee piece (if approved by engineering to load with 2 arms at a time).

• Rail Tank Car load arm docking stations to be moved so that arm 2 &3 can be utilised properly without coordination with rail track movement (this requires moving the existing stand and wiring for the proxy switch).

• Remove compressed air hose reeler and replace with coiled airline.

• Relocate safety shower and eyewash station (out of way of operators).

• Installation of a temporary handrail system along the track side of the loading bay, to assist in protecting maintainers working in area while trains pass.

• Hydrocarbon piping to be repainted “Golden Tan” per SS-P118.

• Supply and install pipe service identification stickers.

• Grouting to be replaced on shed column supports (8 off).
