Tender Description
Stage One
The approximate scope is
- Disconnect services. Demolish Block 3 (Music Room, Block C (Shed) plus partial demolition of Caretakers Shed (Attached to Block 1). Works to include removal of overhead heating pipes and removal of small fence between Block 3 and C. Allow to cap and seal all redundant services and dispose of all materials off-site. Resurface area (Block 3) with hot mix paving where existing building removed. Allow to make good ground and sow new grass where existing building (Block C) was removed. Allow for some cladding and flashing replacement to make good adjacent building post demolition works (Caretakers Shed). Allow for new fence. Valid Asbestos removal certification required. All Works involving Asbestos removal are to be done as per MoE and NZ Guidelines. Works to begin September/October 2022.
Stage Two
The approximate scope is
- Disconnect services. Demolish Block 7 (Star Room) that is no longer fit for purpose. Allow to cap and seal all redundant services. Dispose all materials off-site. Allow to make good ground and sow new grass where existing building was removed. Valid Asbestos removal certification required. All Works involving Asbestos removal are to be done as per MoE and NZ Guidelines. Works to begin December 2022.
