Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The City of Newcastle (CN) is seeking a suitable contractor to upgrade the existing fire dampers at Newcastle City Hall. The extent of works is outlined in the RFT document and includes the upgrading of the fire dampers in the building, including the relocation of existing services and the supply, installation of access panels and all associated building works to upgrade the fire dampers.

The Contractor will be responsible to provide all required access (EWP & scaffold) to undertake the works, removal, rectification, supply, installation, servicing and testing, and commissioning of the mechanical services systems, and all required certification to achieve statutory compliance.

Responsibility for lodgement by the deadline lies solely with the tenderer. Lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted.

A mandatory pre-tender meeting will be held on 15 July 2022 at 9am at Newcastle City Hall, 290 King Street Newcastle. All tenderers are to meet outside at the eastern entrance to the building.
