The City is seeking to enter into a medium to long term agreement with a specialist landfill gas management contractor to operate, expand and maintain the Collection and Extraction Infrastructure and the Power Generation Plant at the Millar Road Landfill Facility.
The successful contractor will be required to enter into:
- A Landfill Gas Extraction and Power Generation Development Agreement.
- A Lease over the Power Generation Plant site.
An Access Licence Agreement for access to, and use of the site, to install Collection Infrastructure and to extract gas from that infrastructure.
Submissions close at 2pm on Friday 29 July 2022 at the City's Administration Centre, Civic Boulevard, Rockingham
Request for Expression of Interest documents and all details regarding the lodgement of submissions, will be available for collection from 10am on Monday 4 July 2022.
The documentation can be collected by requesting documents from PropertiesLeasing@ rockingham.wa.gov.au, the City will then arrange for the documentation to be emailed to you within 24 hours.
Expression of interest submissions via facsimile or electronic mail will not be accepted.
Canvassing of the Mayor or Councillors will lead to automatic disqualification.
