Tender Description

Woodside has a requirement for provision of environmental monitoring services for the Scarborough Project to be delivered in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner, ensuring the integrity of any adjacent assets, seabed infrastructure and environment. Execution of the

program is targeted to commence late Q4 2022/early Q1 2023.
 
The execute environmental monitoring scope may include:
 
• Telemetered water quality monitoring at a suite of sites across the Dampier Archipelago nominally over a 6-to-12-month period
• Pre- and post-activity coral community assessment at a suite of sites across the Dampier Archipelago. Provision for additional reactive surveys where required.
• Dredge plume assessment study (including validation)
• Remote sensing imagery analysis
 
The successful Contractor shall be responsible for the following:
 
• All Project management, communications, training, verification of competency, risk assessments, reporting, quality control etc. to execute the services in a safe working environment
• Provision of qualified and experienced personnel to execute the services
• Securing all required licenses, permits and approvals (including inductions)
• Identification and selection of the most suitable equipment and methods to execute the services (including alternatives where applicable) in accordance with environmental approval requirements.
• Design of in-situ monitoring equipment mooring system to be able to withstand cyclonic events
• Procurement of suitable vessel to execute the services
• Procurement of suitable equipment, consumables etc. to execute the services
• Dispatch of all necessary supplies and equipment required to execute the services
• Execution of the monitoring program in accordance with the Company approved Environmental Monitoring Plan
• Managing Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) and complying with any Woodside SIMOPS requirements and/or documents
• Development and maintenance of online portal for telemetered data and automated notifications
• Interpretation of data and preparation of required deliverables
• Preparation and submission of the required deliverables, including but not limited to:
 
o Project Execution Plan
o Health, Safety and Environment Management Plan
o Local Content Plan
o Environmental Monitoring Plan
o Trip-specific Field Plans and Reports
o Post-activity Water Quality Monitoring Reports
o Reactive Water Quality Monitoring Report/s (if required)
o Pre- and post-dredging Coral Community Assessment Reports
o Reactive Coral Community Assessment Monitoring Report/s (if required)
 
• Working collaboratively with Murujuga Aboriginal Corporation and Murujuga Land and Sea Unit to identify local Indigenous participation opportunities through employment, training, and subcontracting opportunities
 
Other specific scope requirements will be communicated to suitable Contractors via an Invitation to Tender.
