Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The indicative project scope involves the development, design and construction of:

  • Duplication of existing bridge with a structure of similar size/type;
  • New shared path built to PSP standards, to be located under the bridge deck;
  • Associated bridge and tie-in works (lighting, noise, urban design barriers, drainage etc.); and
  • Wheelchair accessible fishing platform.
 
Pre-qualification Required
 
Roadworks Category R3; Bridgeworks Category B4; and Financial Capacity F50
 
Commonwealth Funded Contract that requires compliance with the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code)
 
The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code) applies to the building work associated with this project.  By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016.  Refer to the Building Code at employment.gov.au/building-code for further information
 
Commonwealth Funded Contract that requires compliance with the Australian Govt Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme
 
It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction Industry Improvement Act 2016, at the time of the EOI closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.
 
Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulation 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)
