Tender Description
Eden Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) is planning to construct a camping ground at Fisheries Beach, in Twofold Bay as part of the development for the Bundian Way. The works may impact a recorded Aboriginal site which has been highly disturbed over a long period of time. An Aboriginal Heritage Impact Permit (AHIP) is required before the camping ground can proceed. Pursuant to the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1974.
Aboriginal people and organisations with cultural associations to the area are invited to register interest in a community consultation process to assist Eden LALC in the preparation of an application for an AHIP and to assist the CEO of Heritage NSW in consideration and determination of the application.
