The Opportunity
Bounded by the Great Barrier Reef to the east and sandstone wilderness in the west, Livingstone Shire is located within the Fitzroy Region of Central Queensland and covers 11,800 square kilometres on the Capricorn Coast. The major urban townships of Yeppoon and Emu Park are where the majority of the population reside, our beautiful rural areas include Byfield, Cawarral, The Caves, Stanage, Marlborough, Glenlee and Glendale.
Council services a population of 36,000. Our major industries include retail, tourism, education and training, health care and social assistance, construction and agriculture.
Responses are invited to this Invitation to Tender from appropriately capable, qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of:
Separable Portion A – Supply and Delivery of Diesel Fuel
Separable Portion B – Fuel Management System
Separable Portions A & B - Both Separable Portions A & B
The above are listed as Separable Portions within this Invitation to Tender (Separable Portions).
Tenderers should clearly identify in their Tenders whether their Tender is for “Separable Portion A”, “Separable Portion B” or “Separable Portions A & B”
Council reserves the right to award the Separable Portions to either the same, or separate Tenderer(s) in its absolute discretion, or not to award any Tenderer(s) either Separable Portion. This includes the scenario where the Tenderer may submit a Tender for “Separable Portions A & B” but ultimately be awarded only “Separable Portion A” or only “Separable Portion B”.
Objective
Livingstone Shire Council is seeking responses to this Invitation to Tender for Supply & Delivery of Fuel Tender No.2022.013 as per specification.
The purpose of this ITT process is to assess the ability of Tenderers to complete the Services, including in accordance with all relevant Australian Standards.
Council’s requirements in relation to the Services are set out in Section 2 of this Invitation (Technical Specification).
