The following work is required:
Block 2 – Outdoor Canopy, Toilet Refurbishment, Electrical Mains, One Classroom Upgrade
Block 4 – ILE conversion to two corridors
Canopy to be hard structure steel, hot dipped galvanised frame to match an existing one in front of Block 2, the toilet block attached to Block 4 classrooms, both boys and girls, to be completely stripped out, new plumbing installed including hot water cylinder and all new sanitary wear, water saving device tapware to basin, wall linings to be 12mm ply backing with 6mm hardiflex sheets, new toilet cubicle partitions, painting to be enamel, the flooring to be seamless epoxy. A new 3 phased power supply from main switchboard in Block 4 to switchboard in Block 2. One classroom requires replacement of wall coverings, carpets and some cabinetry modifications. Block 4 corridor to have vision panels into classroom and some replacement wall linings.
To cause the least disruption to the school some of this work will have to be done during October and December/January holiday periods.
