Tender Description
Shallow Monitoring Network Drilling Contract:
Drilling and installation of a shallow groundwater monitoring network associated with the Southern Basins borefield in the Reaphook
palaeovalley and the Nolans mine and processing sites, a summary ofthe proposed works is outlined for each area below:
- Up to sixteen (16) groundwater monitoring bores in the Reaphook palaeovalley, with approximately 550 m of total drilling proposed.
- Up to twenty (20) monitoring bores, installed across the ten (10) locations around the mine site, with each location consisting of a relative deep and shallow location, with approximately 550 m of total drilling proposed.
- Up to seventeen (17) monitoring bores, installed across the ten (10) locations around the processing site, with each location consisting of a relative deep and shallow location, with approximately 500 m of total drilling proposed.
- A summary of the proposed shallow monitoring bore drilling is provided in Table 1 - 3.
Works include:
- Drilling in accordance with the NT Water Act, executed by an NT licensed / registered water driller
- Primary advancement of locations with solid flight / downhole hammer, or selected drilling methodology suitable for the installation of conceptual monitoring bore design as per conceptual monitoring bore design (12581389 – FIG01) attached: utilising uPVC casing and screens.
- Contractors shall nominate their capacity to supply and operate a remote camp facility for the duration of the campaign.
