Tender Description
Armidale Regional Council is seeking Tender Submissions from appropriately pre qualified and experienced Principal Contractors to undertake the Natural Disaster Recovery Works of approximately 43Kms length of the Kempsey Armidale Road (within Armidale boundary) and 5Kms of Lower Creek Road back to its pre-disaster condition.
The Request for Tender comprises of the shortlisting and award of a Stage 1 Early Contractor Involvement Contract to the successful Tenderer for undertaking selective Early Works on the project site, and for the design and construction of the proposed natural disaster restoration works under an incentivised Collaborative Design & Construct Contract.
The successful contractor will be required to undertake the detailed design and documentation based on the Reference Design that has been prepared, and undertake the restoration works in accordance with the NSW Natural Disaster Essential Public Asset Restoration Guidelines and the Commonwealth Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.
This project will include the construction of three additional road improvement projects within the proposed construction site.
