ABOUT THE COUNCIL:

LAKESIDE HOLIDAY PARK:
Northern Beaches Council (Council) has a requirement for linen/laundry services to Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park (Lakeside). Lakeside is located in North Narrabeen, 45 minutes from the Sydney CBD. The Park is operated by NRMA on behalf of Council and offers campsites (catering to both tents and caravans), cabins and villas.
Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park is a four-and-a-half-star caravan, camping and holiday park. The Holiday Park is comprised of 77 cabin style dwellings, including villas, bungalows, studio cabins, two accessible bunk houses and 16 van ensuite sites, all of which require services for the supply, pickup and delivery of laundered linen goods from a central location.
SERVICE REQUIRED:
Laundry Services.
The scope of the tender is to provide the hire of freshly laundered, high quality, white, commercially viable linen goods for use in holiday accommodation at Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park. The service required includes the hire of:
Bath and hand towels, face cloths, bathmats and tea towels.
Single, queen, king size sheets and pillowcases.
And subsequent collection and resupply of linen goods to the designated delivery point at Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park on a regular and as required schedule.
Laundering the following will be on an as required basis:
Blankets, bedspreads, bedspreads, snoozie cubes and mattress protectors (single, queen & king)
The Contractor will provide for use commercially viable linen for use in a busy four and a half star holiday park. Linen is required to be sized correctly, be new or to the satisfaction of Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park Management
The Contractor will provide linen bins to store dirty linen, prior to collection and linen bags to both deliver and collect linen.
The Contractor will provide the requires services commensurable with Australian Standards for Laundry Practices AS/ NZS 4146:2000
The contractor shall launder the supplied linen or otherwise clean as requested associated goods in the best commercial fashion. The contractor shall replace damaged or worn supplied linen to maintain serviceability and appearance. Council will not accept for use unclean, torn, badly faded or damaged linen. Council relies on the Contractor to issue an accurate, verified count per pickup and delivery. The quality and cleanliness of the linen supplied is to be of a high standard.
All linen goods shall be picked up and delivered every Monday and Wednesday as determined by Sydney Lakeside, at 9.00am and Saturday at 6.00pm, twelve (12) months a year. Emergency deliveries may also be required in peak periods. Times and days of pickup and delivery are subject to change at the discretion of Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park.
Both soiled and laundered linen goods and or other items for dry cleaning services shall be picked up and delivered to the storage shed located next to the main office at Sydney Lakeside Holiday Park. All delivered linen goods shall be received in individual bags, per good / product and size.
Expected commencement of works 23/07/2022
The Contract term will be 2 years, with an extension at Council's option of a further 1 periods of 12 months.
