Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Scope of work

Rio Tinto requires a service provider to perform services on Marine Assets in Cape Lambert and Dampier. The scope of works shall include the supply of all material, plant, personnel, equipment, tooling, workmanship, temporary works and any other items necessary required to structurally remediate Rio Tinto's Marine Assets including, but not limited to:

• Wharf Piles, headstocks and deck structural steel (Inclusive of access jetty sections of the wharves)

• Wharf dolphin structures, trusses and associated piles

• Wharf walkway structural components, grating and hand rails

• Tug Pen piles, fixed structures and floating pontoons

Specific remedial works required to meet the intent of the scope works includes, but not limited to:

• Protective coating application, including blasting to achieve adequate surface preparation

• Steel remediation (steel over-plating, composite structural wrapping, etc)

• Steel component replacement

• Fabrication of steel components / modules as required

• Design and installation of access systems to allow cost effective access for remedial works including but not limited to rope access, rope access platforms, tension wire platforms, scaffold or other
