RT is considering the use of a contractor Build Own and Operate (BOO) plant (The Plant) for a Pilbara iron ore mine site. The basis of this approach is that the selected Contractor organisation, (The Contractor) shall be responsible for including but not limited to:

(a) safe design;

(b) construction;

(c) operation;

(d) maintenance; and

(e) subsequent decommissioning

of a BOO plant including the transfer conveyors and non-process infrastructure (NPI) that meets all required product specifications in accordance with the defined project scope.

The Plant will have a throughout up to 15 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) based on coarse ROM feed and will be dry crushing and screening only. Product handling and outload will be to separate Lump and Fines stockpiles and/or Lump product trasferred to the existing plant by Contractor feed conveyors. The Contractor will also be repsonsible for loading the ROM material from the fingers to the BOO ROM feed bin. The Contractor must be self-sufficient from the perspectives of NPI, including site offices, maintenance facilities, ablutions, crib rooms, wash down facilities, water and fuel storage.
