⁠⁠⁠ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 266,000. The Council is committed to maintaining a high level of customer service to the local community.
Northern Beaches Council is working closely with the community to build strategies that enhance our quality of life, promote sustainable development and protect our environment.

SERVICE REQUIRED:
Council is seeking applications for the management and operation of the two (2) Koobilya Street Tennis Courts under a lease agreement with Council. The lease is intended to commence 1 October 2022 for an initial three year period with two further options of one year each at Council's discretion.
The lease is for two tennis courts and a brick storeroom containing one toilet and hand basin.
The successful operator will have exclusive use of the tennis courts to provide tennis court hire, tennis and or other related recreational activities and programs to the community. The hours of operation are from 7am to sunset each day. No lights are available at the Koobilya Street tennis courts.
Respondents are to note that any upgrades or improvements made by the successful operator to the courts will be at the operator's expense and require Council's prior agreement and Owner's Consent.
Council's and the successful operators Maintenance responsibilities are outlined in the Lease agreement. The successful operator must undertake any reasonable additional maintenance as is required to maintain the premises in good repair, reflective of the condition at the start of the lease, fair wear and tear excepted.
To have quotes considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in the Request for Quotation document is provided.

A Site briefing will be held on Tuesday 31 May 2022 Koobilya Street Tennis Courts, Koobilya Street, Seaforth at 2pm. Tenderers should ensure they review the quote documents and understand the scope of work before attending the briefing.
