SUMMARY OF SPECIFICATION

 
The following summary indicates the general nature of the Works for which the Principal desires Tenders to be submitted and is issued to enable Contractors to make an assessment whether the Specification documents should be obtained from the Principal for the purpose of submitting a tender response. It does not form part of the Specification and should not be included as part of the Tenderer's offer.
 
PURPOSE OF WORK
 
The works required under this contract will cover Stack Emission Testing for compliance with EPL761, CEMS compliance testing for the monitors located at EPL761 Points 12, 13 14 & 15, and optionally CEMS compliance testing for the monitors located at EPL761 Points 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 & 11. The primary purpose of the works is to ensure that the Principal is compliant with the stack emissions monitoring requirements outlined in the Vales Point Power Station Environment Protection Licence (EPL761).
 
LOCATION OF SITE
 
The Vales Point Power Station is located on the southern shore of Lake Macquarie, approximately 130 km north of Sydney, New South Wales, and approximately 3 km off the Pacific Highway North of Doyalson.
 
EXTENT OF WORK
 
The extent of the work is for from awarding of contract until 30 June 2024.
 
INSPECTION OF SITE
 
There is no Site Pretender Meeting scheduled for this works.
 
Visitors to the Site must provide and wear their own safety hats, safety footwear, protective safety eyewear (clear glasses), long sleeved shirts (hi-vis) and long trousers or combination overalls (hi-vis).

The specification for contract number C5410 includes drawings. To access these drawings, please email tenders@de.com.au. Drawings will be provided via a secure Objective Connect workspace.
 
By using the Objective Connect workspace for drawings you agree to the Principal’s Intellectual Property Rights which means the Principal shall own all intellectual property, including technical information, know-how, copyrights, models, drawings, specifications, manuals, reports, prototypes, inventions and software developed by the Contractor in performance of the works within the specification.
