Forestry Corporation of NSW (Grafton Management Area) has up to 100,000 tonnes of softwood plantation sawlog products and up to 20,000 tonnes of softwood plantation pulplog/biomass for sale.
This Expression of Interest will be the first of a multi staged process to find the most suitable candidates for the long-term supply of timber which will aim to maximise the utilisation of the resource and deliver Forestry Corporation and the NSW Government best overall value.
Proponents are requested to fill in the forms in the EOI and submit their expressions prior to the closing date of 14 June 2022. Alternative proposals are welcome and will be assessed alongside conforming proposals. It is Forestry Corporation’s intention to award sales agreements around 20 December 2022. Deliveries will only commence in the 2025 financial year to allow successful companies to prepare their facilities for the acceptance of allocated volumes of timber for the term of the agreement.
